DO I NEED A COURSE?
No, you don’t need a course if you are already familiar with normal hair extensions (keratin bondings, tape, etc.). V-Light is child’s play.
You will also receive a detailed video tutorial from us after your purchase, in which we explain the entire treatment to you clearly and in detail.
As a stylist, you will learn V-Light in just a few minutes. Our customer service team is also available to answer your questions at any time.
HOW TO REMOVE?
You remove the V Light Extension with our Remover Solution and our Remover Tool. After your purchase, you will receive a detailed tutorial video in which we also show you how to quickly and easily remove hair that has been applied with V-Light.
HOW LONG DOES THE HAIR LAST?
V Light Extension grows out with the natural hair. We recommend renewing them after around 8 weeks.
DOES THIS WORK WITH ALL HAIR?
Yes, our V-Light system works with all types of hair, regardless of brand.
You can use all extensions made from natural hair. Whether real hair wefts, keratin bonds, tapes, nano rings and so on, or the V Light original extensions.
FOR HOW MANY CUSTOMERS WILL ONE BOTTLE OF GLUE LAST?
You can do up to 3 complete hair extensions with one V Light glue bottle. The exact number depends on the amount of hair you use per extension.
CAN I BLOW-DRY MY HAIR AFTER WASHING IT?
Yes, blow-drying is no problem. Set your hairdryer to a medium temperature and blow-dry your hair as usual.
CAN I STILL STRAIGHTEN MY HAIR?
Yes, you can straighten your hair as usual and also style it with other styling tools. You just need to leave out the V Light connection points.

IS IT UV LIGHT OR LED LIGHT?
UV describes the wavelength at which the light is located. It is called UV because at 395nm it is still on the outer edge of the spectrum assigned to UV light.
LED is an abbreviation for light emitting diode. There is actually no such thing as “LED light”, LED does not describe the type of light, but the type of lamp.
LED has the advantage that it does not generate a lot of heat, as is the case with halogen, for example.
A comparison such as “UV or LED” can therefore not be made. Both describe different things.
IS THE SYSTEM SAFE?
Our system is tested and safe! Before use, the operating instructions and all safety instructions must be read and observed. That’s it!
DOES THE LIGHT HARM THE EYE?
If you follow our safety instructions, it won’t hurt your eyes! You just have to make sure that neither you nor the customer look directly into the light. However, this does not happen when the system is used correctly, because the device has a protection shield.
Also you as a stylist have no direct eye contact with the light.
In short: Follow all the safety instructions printed in the operating instructions and you and your customer are safe!
HOW DO I STORE THE GLUE?
The glue should be stored in the supplied box to protect it from UV light. It should also be stored in a cool and dry place if possible, but never in the refrigerator.
Protect the glue from sunlight and high temperatures. Always store it upright.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF THE GLUE?
When stored correctly, the glue has a shelf life of 6 months. Unopened, the glue has a shelf life of 1 year.
WHAT IS THE LIFESPAN OF THE LEDS?
The approximate life of the lamp is an incredible 30,000 hours! If you calculate a treatment time of 1.5 hours per customer (which is already a lot, since treatments are usually faster), this means that you can treat 20,000 customers with the device.
If we assume that you treat 40 customers per week (5×8 customers per day) – also quite a lot – then this means that the lamp thereotically lasts for 500 weeks of continuous work. So about 9.5 years.
And here we have calculated that the device is permanently on during the treatment – which is not even the case. So you can multiply the values well and good even times 3 or times 5.
DO I HAVE TO SHAKE THE GLUE?
Yes, you should shake the glue for about 30 seconds so that the ingredients mix well.
HOW DO I TRIGGER THE LIGHT?
The light is activated by pressing a white button. It switches off automatically after approx. 8 seconds.
WHO SHOULD NOT BE TREATED WITH THE SYSTEM?
The system should not be used if the treated person has any of the following symptoms in the area of the head where the light from the system may shine: abrasions, keloid – or unhealed scars, herpes, psoriasis, other infectious or inflammatory skin diseases, fungal infections, wounds, sunburn, neurodermatitis, skin cancer.
The system should not be used if the user or the person being treated has the following symptoms:
Epilepsy, polymorphous light dermatosis, photosensitivity, radiation or chemotherapy, hemophilia.
The system should not be used if the user or the treated person is taking photosensitizing medication such as neuroleptics, systemic dermatics and antiepileptics.
The treatment of pregnant or breastfeeding persons may only be carried out after prior consultation with a doctor. In case of doubt, treatment should be avoided.
